We are excited to announce our latest initiative aimed at empowering women and girls in our community - the "EmpowerHer" Natural Hair Education Workshop. Women Empowered to Prosper Resource Center is partnering with Element Salon 2010 in offering this 4-week program designed to boost self-confidence, self-esteem, and mental well-being by educating participants about natural hair care, self-acceptance, and self-expression.

Our Goal

To ensure this transformative workshop's success, we seek your support through fundraising and sponsorships. Our goal is to raise $30,000 to cover all expenses, allowing us to offer this workshop free of charge to participants and make it accessible to as many women and girls as possible who are interested in learning.

Why It Matters?

Embracing one's natural hair is about more than just appearances. It's about embracing one's unique identity and celebrating diversity. Unfortunately, societal beauty standards have often led many women and girls to feel inadequate or pressured to conform to unrealistic ideals. This workshop aims to change that by promoting self-confidence and fostering a positive self-image.
